One of our newer movies to try with the kids was the Herbie series. My wife found a collection a while back for a great price, and decided to buy it. Then it sat on our shelf for a while.
Well we decided to finally watch it as one of our family movies recently.
All the kids seemed to love it, even the littlest which rarely likes to sit for anything. Herbie was like a big Muppet to him, and he loves the Muppets.
The silly crazy antics allows Herbie to win the big race (yes, its a spoiler, but not unexpected). The comedy is clean for the little kids, and slapstick enough that the kids could follow and enjoy him.
