Bet you didn’t know Santa was on the spectrum did you? But we think he is, and can make a compelling case for it. But even better he’s accepted for who he is, quirks and all. Is that what we all want for our kids, to have them accepted and integrated with society.
We know that getting a diagnosis is hard. It’s hard on parents, siblings, grandparents, and all those others around them.
A couple of years ago we wrote this to help spread awareness, and help young siblings, classmates, and others better understand the person they know. To see how being different is OK, and even better in some ways, using the beloved character of Santa Claus.
